How long did you workout before you did your 1st contest?

I worked out for about 8 months seriously before I set my sites on competing.

How long do you diet for a show?
VICKI NIXON
It depends on how Fat I get LOL! No, really I take it slow and diet strict for 12 to 16 weeks.
QUESTION
How much protein do you take in a day?
VICKI NIXON
I take in at least 1 gram per lb. of my bodyweight. Example: I weight 125lbs. I would shoot for 125 grams a day.

How about carb intake?
VICKI NIXON
No more than 2 grams of carbs per lb. of bodyweight.
QUESTION
What type of cardio do you do and for how long?
VICKI NIXON
I do all kinds, I love the Stairclimber, it really hits the glutes and I also do the treadmill on incline for glutes and EFX machines as well as Recumbent bikes, I LOVE cardio...yes I am a very sick lady!
